peace talk program will be held at Nepal National College on February 5

On February 5 , a peace talk show will be held at Nepal National Law College. This event is hosted by global peace groups HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) and addresses the role young people should play in creating a new order for world peace.
About 200 students from National Law College are expected to attend this event. Students will discuss the limitations of current international law and what they can do as future legal experts to resolve them to end the war and achieve world peace. Additionally, Gopal Lamichhane, deputy attorney of the office of the Attorney General of Nepal, will make a presentation for the students.
What’s noteworthy is that HWPL’s core business will be introduced through HWPL workers at this event. Lee Sang-hoon, HWPL International Law Department Manager of Nepal, will introduce 10 articles and 38 clauses of the DPCW to students. DPCW(Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) is a declaration drafted and announced by HWPL and international law experts from 15 countries on March 14, 2016. The DPCW embodies the principles and measures for preventing and resolving conflicts and sustaining a peaceful global society.
Park Hye-ju, IPYG Manager of Nepal, will introduce YEPW(Youth Engagement & Peacebuilding Working Group) to students and guide them so that they can continue to participate in peace activities.
